Epiphone Sheraton II PRO Ebony 2018 Semi Hollow Electric Guitar

This is an Epiphone Sheraton II PRO semi hollow body electric guitar in Ebony finish. Crafted in China in 2018, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body with centre block, 5-piece Hard Maple/Walnut neck and 22 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Gold hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines. The pickups fitted are a pair of Epiphone humbuckers, with a ProBucker 2 in the neck and ProBucker 3 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volumes with push/pull coil splits and independent tone controls.

The gloss finish neck plays very well, with the ‘60s SlimTaper profile sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12” radius offers a perfect balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques. The semi-hollow construction gives the guitar a nice open and resonant feel, while keeping unwanted feedback at bay.

The pair of Epiphone ProBucker humbucking pickups sound thick and chunky with rich lows, tight, punchy mids and crisp, clear highs. The round and thick tone of the neck position is well complemented by the hotter, brighter bridge pickup which provides all of the bite needed for hard rock lead lines. Classic dual humbucker wiring gives you a broad variety of tones with the added bonus of push/pull coil splits on the volume pots for excellent modern versatility, perfect for the gigging musician.
