Tokai MIK ES-60 Sunburst Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar

This is a Tokai ES-60 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Korea, this guitar consists of a Laminated Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Tune-o-Matic bridge, a Stopbar Tailpiece, and vintage-style tuning machines with Kluson-style tulip buttons. The pickups installed are a pair of Humbuckers that are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.

The Rosewood fingerboard feels great under the fingers and the neck sits very comfortably in the hand. The 12” radius provides a great playing surface allowing for bending and vibrato techniques and the double cutaway body allows unobstructed access to the higher register, great for those jazzy style lead lines. The laminated Maple body produces a bright top end, tight, warm low end and great sustain. The bright tone of the body pairs really nicely with the bright, snappiness of the Maple neck.

The pair of Humbuckers in this guitar offer warm and rich tones, with the neck position providing thick and creamy tones that saturate beautifully into full-bodied distortion as you crank the gain. The bridge position is as bright and biting as you could ever need, helping you to cut through any mix with your rock rhythm tones. The traditional control layout keeps things feeling simple, with easy and intuitive tonal shaping.
